CBR1100XX Modifications

Most riders would certainly agree that after purchasing a motorcycle, you have to make it your own. The previous owner of the CBR made a couple of modifications to it that I'm really glad to have:

And of course, the Corbin Beetle Bags

Now I have begun making my new CBR my own by making a few modifications in the name of comfort and utility.

The first item on the agenda was a set of new grips. Previous experience with BMW Sport Grips made me a believer in them, so a new set went on my bike. They fill the hand better than the OEM grips, and make a huge difference for me.

Next, I ordered up a set of anodized billet aluminum footpeg lowering blocks. The previous owner installed pegs from a Honda GoldWing, and these blocks slipped right in and lowered the pegs around an inch and a half.

The lower and wider pegs are more comfortable than OEM, and after adjusting the shift lever and rear brake pedal into the correct position, they feel great.

Future Plans:

Corbin Seat
Stebel Nautilus Air Horn
Headlight Modulator
Taillight Modulator / Running Lights
Throttlemeister
Symtec Grip Heaters
